Medical Camps
Shanti Mangalick Charity Hospital conducts camps that administer health check-ups and treatment, including surgery.
The objectives for these medical day camps are to:
- Educate the local people in health care awareness
- Medically examine the villagers for basic diseases
- Dispense minimal basic medication, if required
- Identify and train local health workers
Many of these health camps are run through local schools. Day camps are set up at these schools and visits are made once or twice a month.
Village Health Care Project – Village of Kundol Visit
A project of Shanti Mangalick Charity Hospital
A team of Doctor, Nurses, Compounder and support staff visited Kundol village to conduct free health check ups, dispense minimal medicines and talk about health awareness. Such visits will now become regular every week. Villagers were very happy about the visit.
